Elvia Ríos Saldaña is a Partner at VAHG and she has specialized her professional practice in the area of Corporate Law, Contract Law and Immigration Law. She has participated in numerous corporate restructuring transactions and in Mergers and Acquisitions cross-border deals, where she advises investors in the implementation of corporate governance, legal audits and compliance, as well as in counselling and participation in the structure of the legal part in various transactional tax planning. Likewise, her common practice includes the review, drafting and adaptation of various contracts, meetings and other corporate activities of companies, providing comprehensive support throughout their management until the completion of the same, as well as procedures for the incorporation of companies as part of her experience in the area of Notarial Law.

During her practice, Elvia has regularly represented domestic and foreign clients, as well as large multinationals, working together with various agencies, authorities and individuals.

As part of her professional development and practice, Elvia has performed activities in the area of Financial Law, where she has provided legal advice on the incorporation and operation of trusts, as well as transactions with banks, joint ventures, project financing, financing for acquisitions and complex restructurings. In addition, as part of the Real Estate Area, Elvia has experience in strategic acquisitions of real estate in several residential, tourism and industrial sectors. Likewise, she has extensive experience in sales and purchases, constitution of property law, condominium regime constitution and complex real estate transactions, among others.

She is an active member of the National Association of Corporate Lawyers (Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa) (ANADE), being involved in several workshops and courses in the Certified Public Accountants in Guadalajara (Colegio de Contadores Públicos de Guadalajara, A.C.) (IMCP) and in the Institute for Executive Specialization (Instituto de Especialización para Ejecutivos, S.C.) (IEE).

Elvia obtained her Law Degree (JD) from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores De Occidente (ITESO), in 2009. In addition, she obtained a Master Degree (LL.M.) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the Universidad Panamericana, in 2014.
