Santiago Palacios is a partner at CorralRosales. He has more than 20 years’ experience representing local and international clients in dispute resolution, corporate, and environmental law matters. He represents clients across a range of different industries such as distribution and services, energy and natural resources, food and beverage, infrastructure and construction, insurance, pharma, real estate and retail. 
 
In the dispute resolution area, Santiago represents local and international clients in administrative and judicial disputes, but he is also active in alternative dispute resolution methods, especially arbitration. Clients are particularly fond of Santiago’s capacity to generate defense strategies following an exhaustive study of the case and taking into consideration the pertinent regulations. He is also noted for his profound knowledge of each client, their activities, and the business in conflict. 
 
In the corporate sector, Santiago provides legal counsel in relation to, among others, complex mergers and acquisitions and the purchase and leasing of assets. In addition, he provides day-to-day advice as per company needs and new projects. He also provides training to officials on various legal issues and assists in compliance matters. 
 
In environmental and natural resources law, Santiago represents clients in administrative and judicial processes and in the management and resolution of socio-environmental conflicts; he has achieved successful agreements in complex conflicts with indigenous communities and environmental authorities, thus preserving the relationship between clients and different social actors.
