Career

Ana Samudio is a senior associate at CorralRosales with more than 15 years’ experience in the competition, regulatory and TMT areas. 
 
In the competition area, Ana advises on merger authorization procedures. In addition, she defends clients against investigations into anti-competitive behavior, and advises on due diligence matters. Ana’s work is widely recognized by the relevant competition authority. 
 
In the regulatory area, Ana represents clients in highly-regulated industries, such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and tobacco, among others. 
 
Ana heads the firm’s TMT practice, where she advises different companies on commercial, regulatory, and industry-specific issues. She has extensive experience of due diligence processes as well as obtaining operating licenses, registrations, permits and authorizations, and has significant knowledge of regulatory compliance control structures and advertising regulations. 
 
Before joining CorralRosales, Ana served as head coordinator for the regulatory department at the largest telecommunications operator in Ecuador. 
 
Ana participates actively in forums and conferences on competition topics and has been recognized by the legal directory The Legal 500.
