Career
Christine M. Jordan is counsel in Cohen & Gresser’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration practice group. Christine has represented corporations, financial institutions, and individuals in complex litigation before federal and state courts, as well as before arbitral tribunals. Christine has experience in disputes in areas such as M&A, securities, contracts, real estate, employment, and bankruptcy.
Christine is recognized in Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation for excellence in litigation. She has also been recognized as a Rising Star in general litigation by Super Lawyers and for commercial litigation by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.
Prior to joining Cohen & Gresser, Christine was a litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable P. Kevin Castel of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Christine is a magna cum laude graduate of Cornell Law School, where she was the senior articles editor for the Cornell Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. At Cornell, Christine was also the recipient of the Rosenbloom Prize for excellence in law and finance and the Kelly Memorial Prize for best exemplifying the qualities of scholarship, fair play, and good humor. She is a graduate of Columbia University, Columbia College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology.
