Career

Carolina Gónzalez focuses her experience in the field of Administrative Law, starting her practice in the port sector, where she has been involved in the development of public bids, as well as in the resolution of disputes between port concessionaires and the port authority to attract private investment to Mexican ports.

She worked at the Central Bank of Mexico (Banxico) where she participated in the implementation of mechanisms to prevent acts of corruption, accountability and punishment of administrative breaches committed by public officials, as well as in issues related to transparency and protection of personal data.

Carolina expanded her experience to regulatory work within the financial sector by participating in the advisory for the incorporation and operation of a Financial Technology Institution (Fintech), as well as in obtaining authorization for the change of control of a Sociedad Financiera Popular (Sofipo). His experience in infrastructure projects is related to advising the holders of permits granted by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), as well as assisting his clients with various procedures before such authority. She participated in the negotiation of relevant agreements within the energy sector, for the construction of highways, as well as in the administration and execution of service contracts (PPS).
