Career

As one of CCN’s three founding partners, René’s practice focuses on representing clients from the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Mexico in complex Mexican legal matters, primarily relating to tax, customs, corporate matters, real estate, foreign investment, maquiladora and shelter manufacturing, and distribution.​

René is a frequent speaker on topics ranging from international taxation to foreign investment.​

Additionally, René is the author of several professional articles and has been a professor of international law and taxation at numerous universities in Mexico and the United States.
