Career

Ignacio M. Bérèterbide leads the firm’s intellectual property practice, with extensive experience in advisory, litigation, and transactional IP matters. He is particularly skilled in licensing and complex IP contracts.

Before joining the firm, Ignacio was a senior associate in the Industrial and Intellectual Property department at Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2003–2007), an associate at Allende & Brea (2000–2003), and an associate at Estudio Liprotti (1995–2000). Repeatedly recognized as a “Leader in their field” by Chambers Latin America, IAM, and Managing Intellectual Property, Ignacio is a member of the Argentine Association of Patent & Trademark Agents (A.A.A.P.I.), Secretary of LES Argentina, and serves on the IP commissions of both A.A.A.P.I. and the International Chamber of Commerce in Argentina.
