Position

Mitchell Kim focuses on complex commercial disputes and strategic counseling. He represents clients in high-stakes matters involving contract claims, corporate ownership and partnership disputes, asset distribution, and securities litigation. His clients span a broad range of industries and include Fortune 500 companies, private enterprises, private investors, and South Korea-based corporations.

A seasoned first-chair trial lawyer, Mitchell has tried 17 cases to verdict, including 14 jury trials, and is known for his ability to navigate sophisticated, cross-border litigation. His litigation experience encompasses contract, securities, corporate governance and ownership disputes, partnership matters, asset allocation, and intellectual property claims. He blends courtroom advocacy with practical business strategy to drive favorable outcomes in contested proceedings.

Fluent in Korean, Mitchell has developed a significant Korea-focused practice advising domestic and international clients on cross-border disputes and international business matters. In addition to his trial work, he serves as outside general counsel to privately held companies of all sizes, providing tailored legal guidance aligned with each client’s operational needs and growth objectives.
