Rachel Sackett specializes in the formation, organization and operation of hedge fund, venture capital and other private equity funds and their general partner and management company entities.

Rachel Sackett is an associate in the firm’s Investment Funds & Advisers practice with years of experience in investment fund formation and the ongoing operation of investment advisers.  She specializes in the formation, organization and operation of venture capital, private equity and hedge funds and their general partner and management company entities.  Rachel has ample experience preparing fund formation materials, including Limited Partnership Agreements, Private Placement Memorandums, Subscription Materials, side letters and ancillary filing materials, and regularly handles discreet tasks for advisers.  Prior to joining Shartsis, Rachel was an associate at Gunderson Dettmer in their Corporate Fund group.

Rachel received her J.D. from J. Reuben Clark Law School where she was the vice president of the Corporate Law Society and placed first in Utah’s University Growth Fund venture capital case competition.
