Todd Soloway co-chairs Pryor Cashman’s Litigation Group and is chair of the Hotel + Hospitality Group and Real Estate Litigation Practice. He also serves on the firm’s Executive Committee.
Todd E. Soloway is one of the nation’s top trial lawyers for high-stakes, business-critical litigation across the hospitality, real estate, and real estate finance industries. He is co-chair of Pryor Cashman’s Litigation Department, serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, and heads both the Real Estate Litigation and Hospitality Practice Groups.
Todd represents some of the most prominent names in the industry, including Virgin Hotels, Brookfield Asset Management, Lloyd Goldman/BLDG Management, Deka Immobilien, Highgate Hotels, Rockwood Capital, Cerberus, Abington Properties, H.I.G. Realty Partners, Xenia Hotels, Standard International, and Quality Branded Restaurant Group, among others. His client base spans private equity firms, public companies, developers, hotel owners, franchisors, family offices, and international investors, each relying on him to resolve complex disputes, protect critical assets, and provide clear, business-focused legal strategy. With more than 25 years of experience, Todd handles litigation involving management and franchise agreements, real estate finance and development, cross-border transactions, partnership and joint venture disputes, commercial leases, foreclosures, regulatory issues, and title insurance matters. His work spans state and federal courts nationwide, as well as domestic and international arbitration forums.
He is consistently recognized, including by Chambers USA, where he is ranked in both Leisure + Hospitality and Real Estate Litigation. Todd is a prolific writer and speaker on issues shaping the hospitality, real estate, and real estate finance industries. He authors a quarterly column for the New York Law Journal and regularly contributes to industry panels, publications, and conferences. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Brandeis University and remains actively involved in both professional and philanthropic communities, including the UJA Federation’s Real Estate Division.
