Career

Leonard Tillman's practice focuses on documenting and negotiating commercial transactions for utilities with specific focus on commercial leasing, credit and security matters, and emission allowance trading. His practice also includes a special emphasis on reviewing and providing advice regarding guarantees and letters of credit. In addition, Leonard provides counsel on utility regulatory policy matters, particularly new smart energy developments and financial issues. Most recently, his practice has expanded to include commercial work in the nuclear power arena.

Leonard has been named a Member of The GridWise® Architecture Council. The Council was formed by the U.S. Department of Energy to promote and enable interoperability among the many entities that interact with the nation's electric power system.
