Robert Humphrey is a corporate and transactional lawyer with a primary focus on middle-market M&A for both public and private companies. He also serves as outside general counsel to startups, closely held businesses, and public companies, advising management teams on day-to-day legal issues and high-stakes transactions with a practical, execution-focused approach. Robert’s practice spans acquisitions and dispositions, financings, commercial and vendor contracting, entity formation and business planning, capital raise support, corporate governance, and reorganizations. He also advises clients on economic development incentives and other strategic incentive opportunities. Robert works alongside clients and their internal teams across the full life cycle of a business—from formation and growth through exit.

Robert also teaches Transactional Drafting and Corporate Law as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Alabama School of Law.
