Career

Stephanie Green advises energy and utility clients on regulatory compliance and the regulatory aspects of commercial transactions, in addition to her extensive administrative, regulatory, and appellate litigation practice. She represents clients before a variety of state and federal agencies and courts, handling contested cases, complaints, and rulemaking proceedings before the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission.

Stephanie’s practice largely involves navigating complex regulatory frameworks and managing emerging issues for utility clients, ensuring compliance with applicable statutes and administrative rules, and advocating for clients’ interests in high-stakes agency and court proceedings. She frequently represents clients in matters involving various stages of litigation and appeal including challenges to agency decisions.

Stephanie previously served as a briefing attorney for the Texas Supreme Court and served as a Coleman Fellow at the Texas Solicitor General’s Office. Her appellate experience includes representing clients before intermediate appellate courts, the Texas Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
