Career

William Coe has more than 25 years of experience advising energy and public utility clients. He represents electric and gas utilities before the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings, Public Utility Commission of Texas, Railroad Commission of Texas, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). William also provides litigation support for utility regulatory proceedings across the Southern and Southwestern United States, including Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Additionally, he represents clients in the state courts of Texas, including appeals of administrative agency orders. He has advised Texas electric utilities regarding restructuring issues since the passage of Texas electric industry restructuring legislation in 1999 and has helped guide clients through business combination and other energy-related transactions.
