Career

Over the past 30 years as a trial lawyer,Chuck Burkhart has developed a national construction practice in which he represents owners, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors in the negotiation of high-value construction contracts to the litigation and trial/arbitration of complex and high-stakes construction disputes – including construction accidents, defect, delay, lien, surety and payment claims. In addition to construction litigation, since 1996, Chuck has specialized in the defense and trial electrical accidents resulting in catastrophic injuries and death, and in product liability cases. He also represents national food manufacturers in adulterated food claims and over three decades has tried many other types of civil cases including mining and property damage claims. In 2025, he was inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.
