Career

Anne Kaufold-Wiggins successfully defends her clients at every stage of litigation, including in trial, upon motions, and on appeal. Anne takes a proactive role in serving her client’s needs. Anne regularly handles a wide variety of cases, including high stakes personal injury and wrongful death cases, nuisance and trespass suits, fire cause and origin claims, complex commercial litigation, class actions, environmental torts, and other energy-related litigation. Anne has a growing appellate practice, having participated in more than twenty appeals, including sixteen victories. Anne specializes in representing electric utilities, including both investor-owned utilities and electric cooperatives. She counsels her utility clients with respect to policy, risk management, corporate governance, and joint use and pole attachment issues. Anne invests in understanding clients' businesses and strategically partnering with them to minimize risks.
