Kevin McNamee has more than 20 years of experience providing counsel to electric utilities across the United States, with a focus on commercial transactions and regulatory compliance. His work includes guidance on the transmission of power across transmission and distribution systems for both wholesale and retail service. This includes support on open access requirements, tariffs, generator interconnections, transmission service, PURPA, and the implementation of regulatory requirements such as Order No. 2023.

Kevin also assists clients in developing business practices, policies, and procedures to implement federal and state requirements. He regularly provides counsel on mergers and acquisitions and has extensive experience across all aspects of nuclear power. This includes negotiating and developing nuclear fuel contracts, supply chain agreements, and contract administration, as well as advising on international and U.S. regulatory requirements and U.S. licensing requirements.
