Jim Hancock has spent the past 35 years of his practice focused on regulatory, licensing, compliance, environmental, legislative, and policy issues relating to hydroelectric projects licensed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) under Part 1 of the Federal Power Act. For the last 25 years, Jim has served as general counsel to the National Hydropower Association. He also advises clients on campaign finance, lobbying registration and compliance, and government ethics issues.
