Associate. Octavio joined Allende & Brea as an associate in 2022 as part of the Intellectual Property Department.

Octavio Mitelman has made several publications in “La Ley”; Intellectual Property Supplement in “elDial.com”; “El Derecho”; Argentine Jurisprudence; Foreign Trade Supplement of the newspaper La Nación.

He has also published the following books: “Cuestiones de derecho industrial”, (Industrial law issues) Ad-Hoc (1999); “Protección jurídica de la información confidencial y de los datos científicos” (Legal protection of confidential information and scientific data) (co-author with Daniel Zuccherino) (2007); “Marcas y otros signos distintivos”, (Trademarks and other distinctive signs), 2 Volumes, La Ley (2015); “Tratado de la propiedad industrial”, (Industrial Property Treaty ), 4 Volumes, elDia.com (2021).

Octavio has been Director of the Legal Department of Estudio Obligado & Cía. (specialist in industrial property) where he dedicated himself to advising multinational and local companies.

He is a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association.

Mr. Mitelman obtained his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He is currently a tenured professor in the "Master's Degree in Intellectual Property" (“Maestría en Propiedad Intelectual”) of the Universidad Austral and director of the "Industrial Property" Supplement of elDial.com.
