BAC International Corporation completed the acquisition of 99.569068% of Multi Financial Group, Inc., the holding company of Multibank, consolidating one of the most significant transactions in Panama’s financial market. Alcogal acted as Panamanian legal counsel, providing comprehensive advice on the structuring, negotiation and closing of the transaction, as well as on its corporate, banking and regulatory aspects. The transaction received all required regulatory approvals. The firm assembled a multidisciplinary team led by partners Rafael Marquinez and Patricia Cordero, covering the main aspects of the transaction.
