Ivonne Aguilera is a seasoned Mexican attorney with over 30 years of experience, born and raised on the U.S.-Mexico border. Fully bilingual and bicultural, Ivonne brings a unique perspective and deep understanding of the legal and business dynamics that shape cross-border operations.
Her practice focuses on Commercial and Real Estate Transactions, Corporate Law, and Mergers & Acquisitions, with extensive expertise in Real Estate and Banking Law. Ivonne advises a diverse portfolio of clients conducting business along the U.S.-Mexico border, offering strategic legal counsel that bridges legal systems and cultural nuances.
Ivonne is known for her practical, business-oriented approach and her ability to navigate complex legal frameworks on both sides of the border. Her commitment to excellence and deep regional insight make her a trusted advisor for companies operating in this dynamic and evolving landscape. She is the Director of our Ciudad Juárez offices and spent most of his time attending cross border legal issues on the borders with Texas and New Mexico.

She is the Mexico co-chair of the U.S.-Mexico Bar Association, as of 2023. Previously, she served as Board Secretary for four years. She has been a member of ANADE for 25 years.
Strongly committed to Pro-Bono, Ivonne served for 14 years as Board Member for the Board of Trusteed of Mexican Revolution Museum in Ciudad Juarez. Currently, she is the Board Chair of Fundación Axcel (FUNAX), a non-profit organization focused on diffusion of technology among children and teenagers.
Education
She has a Law Degree from Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (Chihuahua city, Mexico) as well as a Master´s Degree in Law (LL.M) from University of Texas at Austin. She pursued studies of French language at the Université Sorbonne in Paris, France.
