Catherine Overton is a Partner in Walkers' London office where she is a member of the firm's Global Banking & Finance Group and practises British Virgin Islands law, Cayman Islands law and Bermuda law.

Catherine advises on general banking, acquisition and leveraged finance, private credit, fund finance, structured finance and debt capital markets matters, and has significant experience of advising on complex cross-border restructurings. Her team also handles listings on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.

Her client base spans leading global financial institutions, borrowers, issuers and private clients.

Catherine trained and qualified at Clifford Chance in London, where she worked from 2005 to 2012, and where she was promoted to senior associate in the securitisation and capital markets practice. She spent over 10 years working onshore in private practice in the structured finance space before moving offshore.
