Tom Esler joined Walkers' London office in 2020, where he is a senior counsel based in the firm's Global Finance and Corporate Groups.

Tom advises on both Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands laws, and specialises in cross-border mergers, acquisitions and disposals, as well as general corporate and commercial matters, joint ventures and restructurings.

Prior to joining Walkers, Tom worked as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom (UK) LLP in the Corporate team, where he also undertook two secondments with clients based in London. Prior to that, he trained and worked as an associate at Greenberg Traurig LLP.
