Ching Ching Tay is a senior counsel based in our London office.
She joined Walkers in 2019 and is a member of the Global Investment Funds.

She specialises in hedge funds and private equity funds established in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands, and advises on all legal aspects including formation, structuring and restructuring, redemption and liquidation, downstream transactions, corporate advisory and legal and regulatory matters. She also advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions such as shareholder agreements and investment agreements.

Prior to joining Walkers, Ching Ching worked at Citi as a product lawyer advising its FX Local Markets business in CEEMEA whilst based in its London office, and also spent time in its Singapore office advising its APAC Credit Trading business.

Prior to this, she practised in the corporate department of Linklaters in its London, Singapore and Beijing offices, where she specialised in cross-border M&A and joint ventures, and advised on a broad range of finance transactions whilst on secondment with ICBC in its London branch.
