Tim Baildam is a Senior Counsel in Walkers' Insolvency and Dispute Resolution group in London, advising on Cayman Islands, Bermuda and British Virgin Islands law.

Tim advises clients on a range of contentious matters under Cayman Islands, Bermuda and British Virgin Islands law. He has over nine years' experience working offshore, both from the Cayman Islands and London.

Tim specialises in multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation and insolvency matters, including fraud claims, insolvency office-holder litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, and claims for breach of directors' duties. Tim also has experience advising on contentious matters involving cryptocurrency assets, and acting for stakeholders in relation to creditor and shareholder schemes of arrangement.

Before joining Walkers in 2025, Tim worked for another leading offshore firm in the Cayman Islands, where he spent nearly six years before moving back to the UK in 2022. Tim trained and practised at Freshfields in London, joining their Dispute Resolution group after he qualified in 2013, where he was an associate for several years.
