Investment Funds

Sophie Crocker is a senior counsel in Walkers' London office and a member of the firm's Global Investment Funds Group.

Sophie joined Walkers' Cayman Islands office in 2009 and in 2016 transferred to practise in Walkers' Hong Kong office. Sophie specialises in all aspects of funds work and has experience in a broad range of funds transactions as well as general corporate work. She has experience in the US, Asian and European markets.

Sophie advises a large number of the major private equity houses and their onshore counsel, investment banks and financial institutions and corporations. She has worked on private equity transactions out of the US, Europe, Hong Kong, China and Japan and general corporate work out of the US, Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Walkers, Sophie worked in the Private Equity Group of a leading offshore firm's Hong Kong office.

Sophie trained in the property, banking, litigation and corporate departments of the London office of Travers Smith. For part of her training and post qualification, Sophie was seconded to the Paris office of Travers Smith, where she specialised in private equity work.
