Timur Ochkhaev is a senior counsel in Walkers' Jersey Investment Funds & Corporate Practice Group where he advises on a wide range of corporate law matters focusing on cross border M&A, private equity, equity capital markets and company reorganisations and restructurings.

Timur has acted on a variety of private equity M&A, venture capital, international capital markets, corporate restructuring, recapitalisation and fund formation matters.

Prior to joining Walkers, Timur was a senior associate in the financial services team of another offshore law firm in Jersey where he focused on cross-border M&A, private equity and fund formation matters.

Before that he practiced for about 11 years at Debevoise & Plimpton in London and in Moscow where his practice was focused on representing major public companies in a wide range of high value international capital markets transactions, including IPOs, SPOs and Eurobonds offerings with listings on the London Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and Euronext Dublin, complex liability management and corporate governance matters.
