Career
Allana-J Joseph is based in Walkers' British Virgin Islands office and is a senior associate in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group. She specialises in commercial litigation with a focus on company and insolvency disputes. She regularly acts in matters concerning the liquidation of companies and advises liquidators appointed in the administration of their duties and matters of remuneration. She also has particular experience in fraud and asset tracing claims including obtaining orders for urgent interlocutory and Norwich Pharmacal relief. Her practice also includes advising high net worth individuals on complex trust matters.
Allana-J is an experienced advocate representing clients in the British Virgin Islands Commercial Court and the ECSC Court of Appeal. She is also an accredited mediator and currently serves as a member of the National Mediation Committee for the British Virgin Islands.

Allana-J is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation ("IWIRC"), the BVI Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association ("RISA") and the Women's Offshore Network (British Virgin Islands).
She is also the Second Vice President of the BVI Bar Association.
