Career

Martin is a competition law specialist and has been at the forefront of developments in this area since the commencement of the Competition Act in September 1999. He also has extensive knowledge of the medical industry and regulation thereof. Over the past 18 years Martin has been involved in numerous high profile competition matters in both South Africa and across a number of African countries. Over the years Martin has developed particular expertise in the construction, tobacco, aviation, health, forestry, freight, fishing, liquid fuels, pharmaceuticals, shipping, sugar, pay TV sectors and the fire protection industry​.
