Senior Associate

Marsha is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Group. She is a fintech specialist and a core member of our global Technology & Innovation team. She focuses on technology, financial services and fintech.

She has broad corporate experience across private M&A, fundraisings, joint ventures, shareholder matters, restructuring and general corporate advisory work. She also advises on commercial contracts and technology projects and partnerships.

Marsha has focused on fintech since 2015 when she spent a year on secondment launching a new UK challenger bank. Since then, she has advised various fintechs, financial services firms and investors on M&A deals, equity and convertible debt/bridge fundraisings, partnerships and innovation projects.

Prior to joining Appleby in 2024, Marsha trained and practised at Herbert Smith Freehills in the London financial services M&A team and was later a senior associate at RPC law firm working on technology, insurance and fintech deals. She was also head of legal at two fintech scale-ups in London – a new property/wealth tech and, 11:FS, a fintech consultancy, venture builder and SaaS provider.
