Partner

Richard Collis is a Partner in the Corporate department of Appleby’s Bermuda office.

Richard advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial law. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations, investments and disposals and corporate advisory and governance advice.

Richard joined the firm in May 2025. Prior to joining Appleby Richard practiced at a top tier firm in London.

Richard is a member of the Bermuda Bar and is also admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Richard obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Herriot-Watt University before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law (now University of Law), in London.
