Montserrat Gómez Villaseñor is a junior associate at Cuesta Campos, where she has focused her practice in the area of Corporate Law.

Her experience includes the corporate regularization of companies, the implementation of corporate audits and due diligence processes to identify legal risks and evaluate the level of compliance. Also, she has participated in M&A deals, and in the development and implementation of strategies to mitigate legal risks. Montserrat has advised and accompanied several national and international companies in a wide range of corporate matters, always from a commercial and business-oriented perspective.

Her expertise includes the review and elaboration of a broad range of contracts, agreements and corporate documents required for the operation of foreign companies with subsidiaries or participation in Mexico. She also provides advice on compliance with obligations under Mexican law and international treaties to which Mexico is a party, including aspects related to foreign investment and adjustment of international contracts to ensure their full validity and enforceability under domestic law.
