Ramón de la Torre Medina is an attorney with over 17 years of professional experience, specializing in tax law. Throughout his career, he has advised both domestic and international companies on a broad range of tax matters, with a particular focus on international taxation, tax planning, and dispute resolution with tax authorities.

Since 2025, he has been a partner at Basham, Ringe y Correa, where he leads various strategic tax-related projects. Prior to joining Basham, he worked at a leading law firm in Mexico City, where he was involved in complex, high-profile tax matters.

Ramón also served as a tax advisor to the Undersecretary of Revenue at the Mexican Ministry of Finance, gaining a comprehensive perspective on the country’s tax system from within the public sector.
