Career

Heloísa Figueiredo Ferraz advises Brazilian and international clients across various industries on public law matters, such as public bids, administrative contracts, tender for concessions and public-private partnerships (PPPs), regulatory matters, and the development of infrastructure projects.

She has extensive experience in due diligence and public contracts of corporate transactions, and in structuring partnerships between private and state-owned companies. She also represents clients in administrative proceedings before public authorities, the Brazilian Government Accountability Office (TCU) and other oversight bodies.

She has expertise in compliance and internal investigations, providing guidance on anticorruption legislation, risk analysis, due diligence for corporate transactions, internal investigations and administrative accountability proceedings.

Heloísa advises clients on the assessment, development and implementation of compliance policies and codes of conduct, and provides compliance training sessions.

International experience: Covington & Burling LLP, USA.

Education

LL.M. in International Economic Law, Business & Policy from Stanford University; Postgraduate Degree  in Administrative Law from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV); Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).
