Career

Fábio joined the firm in 2006 and is a partner in the Real Estate practice, focusing on corporate and asset acquisitions within the industry, as well as leases, rural properties, hospitality, timber, construction, and real estate financing (secured finance and capital markets).

He was a Brazilian delegate at the UN Commission on International Trade Law working group on secured transactions and the rapporteur of the Ministry of Economy study group for the reform of security rights in the Brazilian Civil Code.

He assisted in drafting legislation on secured transactions, real estate registries, and securities in Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, and others. He is the coordinator of the Real Estate Credit and Security Committee of the Brazilian Institute of Real Estate Law, and a correspondent of UNIDROIT (International Institute for the Unification of Private Law) in Brazil for the triennium 2023-2025.
