Named one of the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada, Eva is deeply connected to the mining industry and is a strategic and entrepreneurial transactional lawyer. With more than 20 years in the industry and having lead hundreds of transactions, Eva has extensive expertise in complex international M&A transactions, in particular in hostile or contested situations, as well as cross-border capital markets transactions.

Eva regularly develops deal strategy for a variety of transactions including arrangements, RTOs, going-private transactions, take-over bids, public equity offerings, convertible debt transactions and IPOs. Eva is also a lead advisor to a number of international clients seeking to undertake strategic investments in TSX-listed issuers. She has also navigated issuers through proxy contests and advised with respect to activist shareholder actions.

Eva’s experience extends to the boardroom where she is also a director and chair of the Corporate Governance Committee of i-80 Gold Corp, a TSX and NYSE listed gold issuer and a director of Lift Power Corporation, a TSX-V listed lithium issuer.
