Vanessa Johnson is a counsel in McCarthy Tétrault’s Banking and Financial Services group, based in the firm’s Vancouver office. She advises clients on sophisticated and complex transactions in banking and financial services, specializing in the payments industry and compliance with related legal and regulatory requirements.

Vanessa understands that participating in the payments ecosystem can be complicated. To this end, she endeavours to keep clients apprised of proposed changes to legislation and regulations impacting the payments industry, including those applicable to fintechs and financial institutions.
