Oksana Migitko is an Associate in the firm’s International Trade & Investment Law Group in Toronto. She is recognized for her practical and strategic advice to clients on a broad spectrum of international trade, customs, and regulatory compliance matters. As a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designate with the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB), Oksana has particular expertise in customs compliance, including tariff classification, valuation, rules of origin, and various tariff-related matters. She regularly assists clients with navigating complex customs regulations and ensuring compliance with Canadian import and export requirements.

Oksana also has significant expertise in export controls, economic sanctions, and complex cross-border trade issues. She advises clients on the development and implementation of comprehensive import and export compliance programs, ensuring full adherence to Canadian and international regulatory frameworks. Oksana provides strategic guidance on export controls and controlled goods requirements. She is highly skilled at helping clients navigate the challenges of economic sanctions, anti-corruption compliance, and supply chain regulatory requirements. Her practical approach supports clients in effectively managing risk and supporting their global operations.

Oksana holds an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School, as well as LLB and LLM degrees from Saint-Petersburg State University, and an LLM in European Private Law from the University of Amsterdam.
