Ms. McCrae assists clients with offered transactions relating to a diverse base of assets, including Non-QM, proprietary and FHA-insured reverse, closed-end second and other types of residential mortgage loans, synthetic credit risk transfer, mortgage servicing rights, servicing advances and other servicing-related collateral. She additionally advises clients on financings and bilateral transactions for products such as mortgage servicing rights and home equity investment options. This breadth of experience allows her to help clients act quickly on market opportunities and innovate new structures in response to investor demand.

Ms. McCrae volunteers at the Mobile Legal Help Clinic with the New York Legal Assistance Group and with the Reading Partners program tutoring students at local schools. In addition, Janet is co-hiring partner for Hunton’s New York office.
