Partner Syed S. Ahmad is the head of Hunton’s insurance coverage practice. Based in Washington, DC, Syed regularly advises clients in the retail, financial services, real estate, and energy industries. His practice focuses on catastrophic property claims, product recalls, errors and omissions (E&O) disputes, and rep. and warranty (R&W) insurance. He also represents clients in disputes involving long-tail claims under general liability policies and with claims under directors and officers (D&O) coverage. When needed, Syed represents clients in trials and appeals nationwide.

Syed is a proven thought leader on the subjects of insurance coverage and bad-faith and a frequent contributor to the Hunton Insurance Recovery Blog.
