Beyond her commercial practice, Caitlin is a recognized leader in pro bono advocacy. In 2025, she was named American Lawyer Media’s Texas Pro Bono Attorney of the Year,  and she was a finalist for Influential Woman of the Year in 2024. Following law school, Caitlin clerked for Judge Paul A. Engelmayer of the Southern District of New York and Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She then spent three years handling indigent criminal appeals at Appellate Advocates in New York City before transitioning to private practice with Gibbs & Bruns in Houston.
