Partner in Weil’s Restructuring Department and the Managing Partner of the Firm’s Houston office. Gabe’s practice covers all aspects of domestic and international corporate restructuring, including chapter 11, out-of-court restructuring, liability management and distressed lending, investment and acquisition. He has experience advising public and private companies, secured and unsecured lenders and bondholders, ad hoc groups of creditors, private equity funds, hedge funds, and other institutions acquiring controlling positions in financially distressed companies across a wide array of industries, including energy, renewables, oil & gas, shipping, real estate, hospitality, pharmaceutical, airline, automotive, technology, media, and telecommunications. Recent restructuring representations include: DSD Renewables; AMC Entertainment; DRF Logistics (Pitney Bowes); Mobileum; Air Methods; Serta Simmons; Talen Energy; VIVUS Pharmaceuticals; UTEX Industries; Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (representing MBIA/National Public Financial Guarantee); LanzaTech Global (representing Khosla Ventures); WeWork Inc.
