Stephen Marsh is a Principal Associate in Eversheds Sutherland's Construction and Engineering team, where he advises employers, asset owners, and utility companies on high-value non-contentious construction and engineering matters. He is known for his work on complex, large-scale infrastructure, energy, and built environment programmes, with a particular focus on drafting and negotiating bespoke framework agreements and construction contracts. Recent mandates include advising a major water utility on framework agreements for investment programmes valued up to £14 billion, leading on bespoke EPC contracts for a $2 billion oil refinery, and advising a major electricity transmission owner on enterprise agreements and global OEM procurement frameworks for high-voltage infrastructure as part of a multi-billion pound regulated investment programme. Stephen also serves as the day-to-day construction lead for one of the UK's largest real estate asset holders, co-ordinating the firm's team and delivering client training. Proficient across JCT, NEC, FIDIC, IChemE, EPC, EPCM, alliancing, and construction management, Stephen is also a recognised go-to adviser on guarantees and bonds.
