As a corporate associate (New Zealand qualified), Laura Murton undertakes a range of corporate transactional work, including private and public M&A, equity capital markets transactions, secondary capital raisings and general corporate governance matters. Laura regularly represents large local and international companies, both public and private, on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions.

Prior to becoming a corporate associate at Eversheds Sutherland, Laura gained four years’ experience in the corporate team of a large commercial law firm in New Zealand, which included a four-month secondment to a publicly listed multinational dairy corporation.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys running, cycling and travelling.
