Elizabeth Cartwright is a partner in our Real Estate group, head of the Manchester real estate team and advises on a broad range of commercial property work including complex acquisitions, disposals, sale and leasebacks and lease regears. Elizabeth has particular expertise acting for large corporate clients on their real estate portfolios in the defence, health and retail sectors. She has a reputation for leading on the property aspects of high value complex portfolio transactions, demonstrating an ability to manage a combined delivery model using legal technology to manage volume and lead large teams covering complex issues. Examples include leading a national team acting for Morrisons on all property elements of the £2.5 billion disposal of its fuel business across its UK stores and acting for Barchester Healthcare on the £5.5 billion disposal of its care home business to Welltower.
