Elin Owen

Work Department

Elin Owen is an Associate in our Real Estate Dispute Resolution team, advising institutional landlords, developers, investors and occupiers on complex and strategically sensitive property disputes. Her practice spans contentious and advisory work across commercial, mixed use and infrastructure assets, with particular experience in possession strategies, injunctions, covenant enforcement, dilapidations, adverse possession and both opposed and unopposed lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.

Elin acts for national energy, transport and utilities clients, advising on the protection of critical infrastructure and the enforcement of statutory and property rights. She regularly acts on matters involving buildovers, pipeline and asset protection, unauthorised works and safety critical encroachments, where legal strategy aligns closely with engineering, operational and regulatory considerations.

Elin advises private and public sector organisations on Equality Act related issues arising from the management and use of commercial property, including matters involving public bodies and statutory decision making.

She is an active committee member of the Northern Junior Property Litigation Association.
