Tim Fosh is a partner in our Financial Services Group, focusing on financial services regulation, in both a transactional and non-transactional context.

Tim regularly represents UK, European and international banks, insurers, investment firms, asset managers, investment platforms, FinTechs and other (traditionally) non-financial entities, advising them on many elements of UK financial services regulation.

Tim has extensive experience advising on large strategic and regulatory change projects and has also advised on a number of major international public and private M&A deals involving financial institutions.

Tim has a comprehensive understanding of the UK and EU financial regulatory regimes and regularly advises on the regulatory perimeter, prudential and conduct regimes for the full range of financial institutions from established multinationals to start-up firms.

He has advised a number of Fintechs at various stages of their development on expansion plans and how best to manage risk associated with operating in a regulatory environment, especially as they are achieving, or once they have achieved, scale.
