Senior Associate

Kārlis Mārtiņš is a senior associate who mainly supports our Corporate, Commercial, as well as Public and Administrative law practice groups.

By participating in the provision of daily legal assistance to various merchants, Kārlis Mārtiņš has obtained substantial expertise in such legal fields as the competition law, consumer rights protection law, commercial law and employment law. Due to his experience in commercial affairs, Kārlis Mārtiņš consistently provides valuable support to his colleagues in various M&A related transactions and legal due diligence projects.

Furthermore, Kārlis Mārtiņš supports the team with complicated AML and sanctions matters, by participating in the preparation of legal opinions, AML documentation, submissions for state authorities and the provision of other legal advice related to AML prevention and sanctions compliance.
