Laura is an Attorney at Law and Head of Asset Management, Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group at Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns. She has over 10 years of professional experience as a lawyer working in areas related to the justice system.

Laura mainly contributes to our Asset Management, Restructuring and Insolvency practice group and our Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice groups. She provides support in litigation and advises on complex debt collection, transaction litigation, board liability, insolvency and redress proceedings, disputes, and property rights. Laura prepares procedural documents and other documents related to the settlement of commercial disputes.

Laura specializes mainly in civil proceedings and insolvency proceedings and her previous experience has also been related to administrative proceedings in institutions and courts, pre-trial criminal proceedings in the field of economic crimes, and constitutional court proceedings and submission.

Laura has advised clients on the covered bonds issue in connection with the registration and execution of collateral and has provided advice and support in matters related to compliance with anti-money laundering requirements.
