Marta Berkemeyer is the Chair and Head of the Intellectual Property Department.
Career
Her practice focuses on intellectual property, pharmaceutical and regulatory law, IP litigation and alternative dispute resolution, licensing, distribution and franchising, trademarks and patents,
She has extensive experience in advising major national and foreign companies in the entertainment business, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, luxury goods, food and beverage, and technology industries.
Her experience includes managing the portfolios of Fortune 500 companies.

She has participated as a speaker at multiple national and international conferences and has published several publications. She has been very active in national and international Intellectual Property associations, serving in different positions, including: Legislation Analysis Latin America Sub-Committee Chair (INTA); Programs Committee (INTA); Roundtable Latin America Sub-Committee Chair (INTA); Annual Meeting Project Team Hong Kong (INTA); Annual Meeting Project Team Hong Kong (INTA); Vice-Chair of the National Group of AIPPI; Treasurer of the AIPPI; National Group and Treasurer of APAPI.
She is a member of The Legal 500's Intellectual Property Hall of Fame; while Chambers and Partners and IP Stars have distinguished her practice, in the same area, for several years.
